A New Home

Much has changed since I last posted and even more since the last time I updated you on what’s new in my life. This summer, I left my role as Operations Manager for a Los Angeles-based company providing creative/technical consultancy and execution for concert tours, festivals, permanent installations et cetera, mostly in the video side of things. It is a great group of people over there but it was time to move on to a new calling; enter my current role leading a team to provide the full width and breadth of system support for some fairly high profile clients. I’m keeping this intentionally vague on information for both my previous and current roles but if you know me then you already know the details.

During the whole changing of jobs, I also moved to a very familiar location which I absolutely adore. However, moving while taking on a new role with new teams wasn’t the greatest timing and I’m certainly glad that’s behind me now. I’m still very much in the same city though so that’s a huge bonus as I quite enjoy the area.

More recently, I’ve decided that it was time to move on from my previous hosting provider (and domain name registrar) for this site as I was not making use of many of the features I was paying for. Having said that, if there are any hiccups over the next few days please bear with me as there’s a good amount of boxes to tick on this transfer. While I think I’ve got it all lined up there’s always the possibility that I’ve missed a step somewhere!
